On Monday 20th January, Hopton Church of England Primary was delighted toextend a warm welcome to James Pulford from Rory J. Holbrook Limited, who joinedus in school to unveil the company’s very generous gift of three new interactivewhiteboards.

To mark this special occasion, James Pulford cut the red ribbon, symbolising thebeginning of a new and exciting chapter in our classrooms.This gathering was an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incrediblegenerosity of Rory J. Holbrook Ltd. and the positive impact their donation has had onour pupils and educational experiences.

With support from the company, Hopton has been able to purchase cutting-edgeinteractive whiteboards for our Reception, Year 3 and Year 6 classrooms. Thesestate-of-the-art boards are already transforming the way we teach and learn,providing children with a dynamic and interactive environment that fosterscollaboration, engagement and accessibility.

From our youngest pupils exploring phonics to our Year 6 pupils tackling complexproblem-solving tasks, these interactive whiteboards are enabling every child toparticipate and thrive in their education. They allow teachers to bring lessons to lifein new and exciting ways, enhancing the learning process across all stages ofprimary education.

But the impact of this donation goes far beyond the provision of technology. It ishelping us enrich the lives of our children and ensure that their learning experiencesare both stimulating and inclusive. The generosity of Rory J. Holbrook Ltd. has madea real difference in our classrooms, empowering both pupils and teachers toembrace new technology.

The entire school community including pupils, staff, governors and families alike areexceptionally grateful to Rory J. Holbrook Ltd. for their unwavering support andcommitment to our school.

Kier and Rory J Holbrook Ltd have worked collaboratively to launch a brand-new surface dressing innovation used for the first time in Norfolk. The team is the first in the UK surface dressing industry to introduce this type of truck, which negates the need for the use of tipper trucks. Instead, the new truck uses a conveyor system to dispense aggregate into the Phoenix Chipping machine; meaning that stopping to reload the chipping machine from a tipping truck is no longer needed.
